Any student who is interested in working a spring 2027 internship is strongly encouraged to participate.

Students can view internship opportunities that are exclusively promoted to the Cronkite School on Oct. 1, 2026 through ASU CareerLink.
Internship interview month will cover all media-related industries such as sports reporting, print and digital media, podcasting, television and radio broadcasting, producing, public relations, digital marketing, social media management, content creation and more!
Internship Courses
Students are encouraged to meet with your Academic Adviser prior to participating in an Internship Interview Month to know which internship course would be best for their degree program.

Most students find internships through the Internship Interview Month events which are held every semester for internship opportunities that will happen for the upcoming semester.
Many Cronkite students are required to complete an internship as part of their degree requirements. To support this need, the Cronkite Career Service team partners with many different employers to promote their internship opportunities exclusively to Cronkite students.
All degree seeking Cronkite School students are encouraged to participate. This includes first-year through graduate students, on-campus and ASU Online programs. However, some employers may have their internship posting set with specific eligibility criteria which may prevent applicants from viewing and applying to some opportunities.
No. Students must apply to the internship(s) they are most interested in, but it's the employer's decision of who they would like to reach out to interview and potentially hire.

If you secure an internship through the event, students are expected to register for course credit. Employers participate in this event to support the student’s academic success and professional development.
